Ive read that Rob mac racing has got factory bikes in the shape of last years GSE Airwaves bikes. Have they just got the factory bikes or have they got factory support too?

Rob mac has got 2 rolling chassis off GSE which means he has no engines, pucka electronics or dash. He has no factory support as to get this you must pay the factory for it which i think rob mac is very unlikely to pay for

2 rolling chassis? Is that it? The thing i read led me to believe they had two complete bikes

Just get your facts right before you go slagging the Guy off on this forum The packages Rob recieved where the complete bikes from Yamaha UK with all the electronics and engine's etc The reason he chose to run with motec will be the fact that his electronics engineer is highly respected by the Motec company in Austrailia and who they use to develop software etc and this as been the case for a few years now, i could say why he ended up with these bikes but im not going too but people in the real world of racing know the truth

Rob mac did not 'recieve' the bikes from yamaha, he and andy smith picked up the COMPLETE bikes from GSE weeks ago.
They didn't pick up many spares as there weren't many spares left! All stuff like wheels etc had already been sold to other teams.
How do I know this? because I was on the phone to the guy who was the last member of gse staff(he finished last friday and is now on the dole) while the bikes were being loaded up.
the engines in the r1's were well over mileage so are gonna need a full rebuild before being used in anger

colin wright works for darrell at GSE in kent
the majority of the technical staff have gone to wsb with toseland and bmw with xuas
A couple of the guys are starting/have started their own race prep companies
some of the pr people are working camier

I am still shocked at how quickly things went from being very good to very bad so quickly
