A Few years ago, Emmerdale had it's first lesbian kiss in one program as the todger-dodger vet dragged a baby-sitter up the stairs. The following morning I was at Scarborough for an early tip and the local radio presenter mentioned it, with the following line, "Well, Emmerdale broke new ground with last nights episode as the soaps lesbians had a steamy kiss and headed upstairs as the credits started to role, whatever will the locals think of that? I can tell you one thing for sure, there will be tongues wagging in the next episode!". I nearly died with laughing and that was the last time we heard that presenter as he was whisked away from the mic and replaced for the rest of the show, then sacked.

I thought it was a pretty good play on words myself.......
